Thesis in a Nutshell
Ectotherms (organisms dependent on external sources to regulate their body temperature) need to thermoregulate in order to carry out the necessary functions for survival (ie. feeding and breeding)
and
How or if they will be able to adjust to a changing climate is, as yet, unknown
so
My work aims to inform a piece of that puzzle and ask whether or not lizards have adaptive potential, or the ability to combat climate change through adjusting their thermoregulatory behavior

Investigating and comparing how female lizards are able to cope with climate change predicted scenarios during gestation
